Since the establishment of EPC-Kenko in Beijing in 1994, Kenko has been setting up the subsidiaries, branches and joint venture companies for the
business promotion and expansion of the group’s companies. Our activities have been supported by the local team in China who specializes in the major trade and chemical fields, and understands and forecasts the Chinese market accurately. Because we understand the Chinese market’s potential combined with establishing good relationships with producers, our supply from China has been steadily increasing not only in quantity, but also in the variety of products available.
Our network in China now covers major business in coastal cities including Beijing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong where we have established our branches and subsidiaries. We have also entered into manufacturing for plastic resin processing and the production of food chemical products through our association with joint venture companies in China. Our business encompasses a wide variety of fields, such as fine chemicals, food and feed additives, pharmaceutical intermediates, nutritional supplements, molded plastic resin products, electronics and related components, etc. In particular, we have established a strong position in the production and sale of Xylitol and Xylose and are marketing these items globally through our worldwide network. In addition to exporting highly qualified products from China, we have also been successful in introducing products into China, including fatty alcohols, fatty acids and other oleochemicals; cleaning solvents and organic chemicals; fine chemicals such as API; and packaging materials including plastic trays and carrier tapes. Our local subsidiaries are positioned to settle business transactions using local currency and hold the official license for the handling of toxic or hazardous materials in China. In developing this vital network, we have added a new and vibrant chapter to Kenko's history.

packaging material and leisure goods. Of the company's gross sales, 70% to 80% are export sales.

KIS Conductive Plastic Co., Ltd. is the joint venture of IB Group (Hong Kong) and Kenko Corporation for the production of special plastic trays. The company produces electro conductive
and antistatic plastic trays that are used for the transportation of electronic components, such as
optical pickup devices and FPC to the assembly factories.
Its main manufacturing facility is located in Shenzhen and its sub-factory is in Shanghai. KIS is very
proud of being approved as Green Partner by Sony Corporation and also enjoys its good reputation
as a high quality special tray supplier by the major Japanese leading electronic component
manufacturers. KIS recently started to promote Carrier Tapes in addition to special trays.

manufactured by the associated companies like KIS. The company is mainly engaged in domestic
trading business within China and deal with domestic RMB currency.
The major activity of Kenko-Bally Hong Kong Ltd. is for international trading business of import
and export of various products. The company deals in foreign currency and mainly handles the
products manufactured by our group and associated companies such as plastic trays and career
tapes from KIS, Gum Rosin and its derivatives from WFFSC, Print Circuit Board, and Flexible
Circuit Board, and other chemical products.
